At Sand & Stone, every piece is made by hand by our own craftsmen using natural stone and carefully selected materials. Because natural stone is formed over millions of years, variations in colour, veining, pitting and texture are entirely normal — and mean no two pieces are ever identical.

Photography is representative. The exact colour and pattern of the piece you receive will differ from the images shown, and that individuality is the point.

Most pieces are made to order, with an average lead time of 7–10 working days. Custom sizes and finishes are available on request — just get in touch.

Everyday cleaning
Wipe spills and stains promptly with a soft, damp cloth, then dry with a clean cloth. Never use abrasive or chemical cleaners — scouring pads, alcohol, vinegar or bleach will permanently etch and dull natural stone.

Spills
Stone is porous. Blot liquid immediately rather than wiping, and allow the piece to air-dry at room temperature. Take particular care with wine, citrus, coffee and oils, which stain fastest.

Everyday protection
Use coasters under glasses and trivets under hot dishes. Keep pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading, and avoid dragging sharp or hard objects across the surface.

Upholstered pieces
We recommend professional dry cleaning. If a loose thread appears, never pull it — trim it carefully with scissors.

Natural character
Slight variations in colour, veining and texture are inherent to natural stone and timber. These are not defects, but the mark of an authentic, one-of-a-kind piece.

Every Sand & Stone piece is custom made to order by skilled artisans using carefully selected materials. Each item undergoes a thorough quality inspection prior to dispatch to ensure it meets our standards.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt — after this period, the item will be considered accepted in good condition. Please note that natural variations in stone, timber and fabric are inherent characteristics of our materials and are not considered defects.
